I went to a baby shower this weekend and left intoxicated by and loving pink. It was the baby shower for my sister in laws best friend and the mommy to be looked absolutely lovely and radiant in her hot pink short sleeved top. I really liked that while we were all sitting down they had us go around and introduce ourselves and tell how we knew the mommy to be. It was a great way to find out who was who.

So yes back to the pink. There were cute decorations everywhere and tons of bags of different pastel colors with tissue paper peaking out. Oh and when it came to the gift opening, so many cute girl outfits. It is the year of polka dots! I think what makes it extra fun is that the mommy to be and her husband already have a boy and so this is such a new experience for them. Especially because on the husband’s side of his family it is all boys.

In a couple weeks it will be one of my friend’s baby shower and she’s having a boy. I can’t wait to experience all the contrast of blues, greens, and reds, and all the fun “little man” type looking clothes.
