Some days all I would like is a tight hug, something longer than a second, and a sincere and heartfelt “I get that it’s hard. I understand now”. Without having to ask for it.

Believe it or not, writing this and putting this out there feels almost like a hug in itself. I’ll take what I can get. God works in great ways, bringing peace in moments and ways that I least expect them.
