I love this word. The MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) theme this year is A Fierce Flourishing. 

I am so thankful for God and for the life experiences I have had, for the mistakes and good choices I made, that all led me to this season. 

Right now, I’m flourishing. 

I was at MOPS today and we got to paint on a small canvas. Our speaker, this amazing lady with her words that spoke directly to my heart said we could paint whatever we wanted, without fear and without self criticism. 

This was my creation. 

  
I am growing and developing in a healthy and vigorous way. I am thriving. I am prospering. 

I looked around at MOPS and I see these strong and beautiful women. I see the love with which they handle their children, those that have little infants in the room with them. I see women giving love and support to other women and I think to myself, it’s true what the speaker said. We are all creative, each one of us. “We are creating life, a safe and loving place for our children.” 

This is a new season for me, just like every other different season I’ve experienced. I don’t have the answers and I’m often wrong and I make mistakes.

But I am flourishing.
