Lights on, children out

For 5 years we have had a crib in our room and it is so odd to see that big empty space now. Odd, but nice. Odd and a little bit nostalgic.

Today we moved the crib to the room that now the girls will share. Elysse is a year and one month and we figured it was time since I’m no longer nursing.
I hope tonight goes well. I said a little prayer to God to give me patience for whatever the night may bring.

And although it’s a little nostalgic, it’s nice to be sitting here on our bed with the lights on and blogging while the girls are asleep. It’s so nice to have some space back. For whatever time it may last.
