Today my husband and I celebrate 7 years of marriage 💞.
Here we are lighting our unity candle.
My husband posted this and three other pictures today, which I’ll share later.
This picture though reminded me of the biggest commitment we made to each other. To be united, together.
We are both such different people from that day that we lit that candle. We have felt our love on such enormous levels and we have gone through some moments of frustration with each other. And seeing this picture has reminded me that we have gone through each moment the past 7 years together, in unity. And that’s how we both desire it to be. For us and for our girls, and because we love each other deeply.
It’s good to look back at these pictures and remind ourselves of where it all began and to focus on the good, because there has been a lot more good than the mind tries to bring up.
So today I am thankful for our love and our marriage and each blessing God has given us to grow. Because God always has a better plan for us than what our own eyes can see.
Here we are in front of Yosemite Valley Chapel, where we got married.
And the picture below is with Half Dome, El Capitan, and Bridal Veil as our backdrop.
God is truly majestic in all things that he creates; including our marriage, our love, our family.
