Life · Motherhood

A little slice of everything

Oh my goodness I can’t believe we are nearing the end of October! It’s been too long since my last post and there is so much to share…

One of the biggest news is we booked our family trip. We are going to Italy next month!!! It will be my first time since I was 2 years old that I will not be celebrating Thanksgiving on American soil. Yes we will be traveling with our two girls who will be 5 years old and 21 months at our time of departure. I am completely beside myself with excitement – and so is my husband. We will be visiting Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, and Venice. Eek!!! I know!!!

Before we head out to our trip though we will be celebrating Celeste’s 5th birthday. I can’t believe she’s going to be 5. My little baby is growing so fast. And thankfully little sister Elysse seems to have lost her inner Godzilla. No more tirades. I have a strong feeling those hysterical outbursts we witnessed were due to teething.

On a personal note, I have gotten so consistent with my workouts. Last month was a real turning point for me, a transformation you could say. I’ve been doing challenge groups with a coach from Beachbody and the accountability has been one of the biggest factors of my success. It has made such a huge difference in seeing results and staying committed. I became so passionate about wanting to motivate others that I opened up a secret group on Facebook. It’s a place of encouragement and inspiration – a place where I can show up and be there for people on their fitness journey and remind them that they are “capable of amazing things”. And it’s a place where others can be there for me too!

I’ve also been keeping a small One Line a Day memory book. Have any of you tried this?! I love it!

We also took some photos at the beach at the beginning of this month. It was our first ever session at the beach and we had so much fun despite how windy and cold it felt.

Ah! I would love to keep writing some more but my eyes are starting to shut and tomorrow is an early wake up day.

Sweet dreams lovelies!
