I was a bit taken aback when I saw today’s word of the day.  It was quite funny actually to become aware of my immediate first reaction, I literally stepped back in my seat, like trying to avoid getting hit by the word. 

Well, haven’t we all experienced rejection once or more in our life, I know I have.  It’s one of the reasons why I would shy away from making my writings/thoughts public, because of that fear of rejection.  Instead though I’m choosing to turn that fear into something positive so that I can grow and learn more about myself.  And here I am.  Rejection can definitely sting our ego, but I feel that if we can take that sensation and look at it from a broader perspective and learn from the experience, no matter what the situation, and truly allow ourselves to be aware of the sensations we feel, we can take the negative feeling and turn it into something positive.
