Hello there! I can’t believe it’s been over a month since my last post. I hope life has been good to you!

As for us, we are in full summer mode! The end of the school year and Celeste’s first year on the dance team ended super well. It’s hard to believe in the Fall we will have ourselves a first grader and that Elysse will be starting preschool twice a week! I feel like the time is speeding up now.

We did our yearly trip to Montecito Sequioa Lodge at the end of May and it was amazing! Originally we had plans to go the last week of August but since we booked our European Mediterranean cruise (our first cruise ever!!) we had to switch our dates for Montecito. If you haven’t heard of this place, look it up. It is a true gem. We look forward to this trip every year! All the meals are included, we always meet amazing people and this year the girls had a blast with the different kids activities.

Here’s a picture of Celeste trying archery for the first time and Elysse playing with the camp counselors and riding a horse! She’s a natural!!

The girls loved the time there! We love that we don’t have to cook or clean, Nature all around us and that we get to just relax and enjoy our time away. My husband said to me let’s come here every year until we die. Agreed!

So far the days have been a mixture of full, relaxing, fun, and spent with family and friends.

I’m not a beach person at all (it’s mainly the sand I can’t stand haha) but we had an amazing time there last week with my brother and his family who are visiting us from Arizona. Have you been to Marina Park in Balboa Beach?! This place is awesome! There’s a grassy area followed by a playground and the beach water just below. There’s no high tides in this area so it’s perfect for the little ones! I can’t wait to go back. I forgot to get pictures of the playground and grass area, but check out the water!
