I’ve been so blessed this week with being able to get together with some of my closest girl friends, it has really made me appreciate every one of them and realize the value of a true friend.

I have a close circle of friends who have helped me so much and been such a support during different times in my life. It’s comforting to know that I have so many people, aside from family of course, who are there to encourage me and remind me of all the good and positive things in life. It makes me realize how blessed I am.

Tonight I got to celebrate one of my cousin’s birthday along with a girl friend of ours and at one point I thought of how many things have changed for us in the past year and it made me smile. Because while I don’t know what the next year will bring, one thing I know is that my family and friends will be there at my side and we will see each other through, and will celebrate good times and give each other strength when we need it.
